Alternative
A Fresha alternative built for queue and pay.
AppointHive is a Fresha alternative for barber shops and salons that want online booking without forcing client logins, a live queue for walk-ins and appointments, and commission from the same visit—plus the choice of Hosted SaaS or a Standalone license.
Keep the chairs moving. Keep pay honest. Skip the marketplace if that is not your growth channel.
- No customer login
- Live queue for bookings and walk-ins
- Commission and payslip from the visit
- Hosted or Standalone
- Multi-location ready
- Email confirmations and reminders
Why shops look past marketplace-first tools
Marketplace booking helps discovery. Many floors still need one shared answer for who’s next, and a payslip that matches the cut that happened.
AppointHive treats the booking as the start of a visit: queue status, history, email, reports, and payroll read the same record.
What you get instead
Branded online booking and website embed. Walk-ins on the same live list. Staff PIN or magic link on the floor. English, Spanish, or French.
Hosted trial when you want cloud. Standalone when the shop should live on servers you control.
Questions shops ask
What is a good Fresha alternative for a barber shop?
A good Fresha alternative depends on whether you need marketplace traffic or floor operations. AppointHive is built for booking, live walk-in queue, and staff pay from one visit—with Hosted or Standalone hosting.
Does AppointHive include a client marketplace?
No. AppointHive focuses on your shop’s booking page, embed, queue, and payroll—not a consumer marketplace that sends strangers for a booking fee.
Will my clients need a new app?
No. Clients book on the web with AppointHive and never create a login.
Can I switch from Fresha without losing the floor?
You can run AppointHive for booking and queue while you migrate habits. Contact hello@appointhive.com with chair count and whether you want Hosted or Standalone.
